Don't blink...

As a new mom, I am quickly learning how crazy life can get with a family. Being responsible for all the schedules and home to-do lists, all while trying to make sure I document my baby's childhood and my family's memories is more than anyone person can keep up with! Which is why it's totally understandable that family portraits typically get placed on the back-burner.

So, we take hundreds of pictures on our phones and never really know what to do with them. And never end up having any wall-worthy ones to hang in your home.

Let me help...

Happy Clients

"Shelby is amazing to work with. She is flexible, friendly, and communicative! She did my couples photoshoot that I loved so much I went back and scheduled a boudoir photo shoot! I can tell she takes pride in her work and I will always recommend her to anyone looking to get photos. Can’t wait to schedule her for my wedding one day!"

- Racquel F.

"We have had the privilege to work with Shelby L Photography two years in a row. Senior pictures 22 and senior pictures 23. We are very pleased with Shelby’s great work and her willingness to meet our needs. We are very thankful that we were able meet the yearbook submission deadline. She made both students, who are a bit camera shy, very comfortable and relaxed. Loved the outdoor shots that she was able to capture. We did not get into the studio, but her studio work looks great too.Thank you Shelby!"

"I cannot say enough great things about Shelby. This was our first shoot with her and I am so in love with the results. My son is just a year old an it can be difficult to get pictures of him but she was so patient an kind. I can’t wait for our Xmas cards. We had a blast working with her an we will most certainly return for our photo needs."

- Antonette D.

"Shelby is 100/100 stars! I go to her for all of my professional shots! She has done my boudoir photos making everything on me pop, she has done Halloween photos and made me the hottest witch in Salem, she has done my family photos for Christmas time and made it extra special for my babies! She really goes the extra mile for me to be comfortable and look my best! She will get me into a pose and remind me I may feel silly but from her view I couldn’t be more beautiful! Very uplifting and caring! I couldn’t recommend her more!"

More than you know...

Technology always moves on. Today, we live in such a digital world, that we forget how important decorating our homes with our loved ones is. Instead, we keep photos locked away in our phones, forgetting that most of those photos even exist and never do anything with them.

Doing this correctly, on your own, can be a task where most people wouldn't know where to begin. Here at Shelby L Photography, we take the weight off your shoulders and make this process as easy and as fun as possible!

Meet Shelby

An artists at heart, Shelby has always had a need for an art career. She never thought creating large, heirloom portraits of others would be that art career. Losing her mother to breast cancer at the age of fourteen, Shelby realized how important documenting family and individual legacies is. Having no professional portraits with her family or mom to cherish after it was too late, she knew she had to help others avoid the same heartbreak.

Shelby's goal as a photographer will always be to help people leave their legacies behind, display love, and to encourage people to always be themselves.

It's never too late to skip this mistake. We invite you to contact us anytime or to schedule a consultation or a visit at the studio to learn more about how to create heirloom-quality artwork for your home for generations to love.
